 The Homepage

 

Is the homepage pleasing to look at?

Yes, it is simple and I could find everything on the Home Page.

Does the homepage clearly show both visually and with text what the website is about (i.e represent the students progression route?)?

The Logo is great, however, could be bigger to be able to understand better her progression route.

Is there a navigation menu on the homepage?

Yes and it is a good size and the font is good. 

Is the navigation menu clear and easy to use? 

Yes, very intuitive, also because of the background I could notice this easily.

Are there social media links on the homepage?

Yes, her Instagram is correctly linked.

Do all the menu links and social links work correctly?

Yes, all good. 

Do you have any comments or suggestions in regard to the homepage?

In my opinion the only think that it does not goes with the website is the logo. Very small and the progression route is not very noticeable.

 

The About & Contact Page 

 

Is the About page pleasing to look at?

It is a great picture, the background picture. However, could be very difficult to understand the text.

Does it contain an image or design?

Yes, the image background.

Is the about me/biography well written?

Just with some spelling errors.

Does the about me/biography really tell you about the person and their work? 

Knowing Marta I know she could put something more about her and her work. However she added relevant information.

Do you have any suggestions on the about me page? 

Changing background and some more information.

Is the contact page pleasing to look at?

Simple and good. I like it. 

Does it contain an image or design?

No

Does the contact page work - test this and find out

It seems to be working. 

Do you have any suggestions about the contact page?

To dark and could be added a picture

 

 

The Gallery Pages 

 

Do all the gallery pages work?

Yes working all fine.

Is there an introduction to the work on each gallery page?

Missing introduction in the Photography Gallery. 

Does all the work have titles?

Yes

Are the gallery pages consistent?

Yes

Do the gallery pages work well and are they easy to use?

It is a bit confusing, but not a major problem.

Can you go back and forth through the gallery pages easily?

Yes

Is the work displayed to show it at its best?

No, she can really make it look even better. She has amazing pictures and I think she is a really good artist. The way she is showing these pics could be think in a different way. 

What suggestions do you have about the gallery pages? 

Try to show pics in a different way. Maybe change de background colour. Add some titles and some information even small about their work in each page.

 

The Whole Site

 

Is the site consistent throughout?

Yes, I can see her style through the website.

Did you find it easy to navigate and use?

Yes

Was it a good experience going through the site?

A bit dark website. 

What would you change if you could? 

Colour 

Would you recommend this site to others? If not, why not? 

Yes, for her works and creativity. But its not the most pleasant website that I have seen.

As I have mentioned before Marta, is a great artist and I really appreciate what she does. However, the way she shows her works is not the best. Maybe she needs to find her style for a website and change it a colour theme or some other small things. Overall I think she has potential to make it better for sure.
