Three Amazing Ideas

At this stage I do not have a fixed idea, however, I do like to do something different from previous projects. I have done Portraits, Urban Landscape and Long Exposure.

Street Photography

This time I'd like to do some Street Photography. Since I know myself that I like to observe people and their behaviour. I found very excited that everyone has different thoughts and different ways to act. Even some of us looking amazing, stylish, happy or surrounded by people a simple expression can change the weight of a photograph and tell more about a person. One of my inspirations for this project is Nicholas Goodden, a Londoner photographer that has a remarkable work in Street Photography and have worked for many brands to build up their potentials in the market (Goodden, 2022). please see below two examples from Goodden website that I found it while doing a quick research for this post.  

Motion Photography

Other style that I'd like to try is motion photography, where I can capture and show movement in my photographs. I have done something similar with long exposure, however, my idea for this would be to photograph dancers at the Pace Building but a studio session is on the table too. This could be a good opportunity to build up new connections at DMU, discover and learn techniques and experiment something that I found quite challenging. On my quick research I found it Belinda Strodder, an Australian photographer specialist in dance photography who has her work published in magazines and other media (Strodder, 2021). Abstract Photography

When I think about Abstract Photography my first thoughts are about Fine Arts and how I can play with shadows, colours and textures. A very interesting style of photography that I'd like to try. In fact, this one I found the most challenging between the options that I have shown previously, however, as I have explained before I want to explore and experiment new things. That does not mean that will be the most difficult, I will probably find out when the research process goes further. 

At the end of this quick research I still not have a clearly idea of what project I will go for. Moreover, more research will be done in my self study time and understand the possibilities in each project. A good start to understand the path I will follow during this project.
