The Urban Landscape - Initial Ideas

For this project I wanted to share my personal thoughts about Leicester. I could do about any other place or choose a more general topic, however, I founded quite interesting to talk about a city that I am living but also a city that I have not liked at the first time. The fact the buildings are brownish or this brick colour  makes look quite industrial and heavy. However, I have learned to look at the places with different eyes by taking photographs. And I wanted to share this with the people too. By taking a picture of a place that does not look so attractive, the outcome is actually quite satisfying when I look at it. 

Recently I was delighted to see that the Leicester Council repost one of my pics twice related to one of the most beautiful building in Leicester, the Grand Hotel, in the City Centre. This building will be part of my final project, but not exactly the same picture. This one was an experiment with long exposure. The overall experience to go around a town is a very satisfying moment where you can look with other eyes to things and places around you.
