Welcome to the New Term

I could not be happier to be back at DMUIC for a second round. After a good first term, I could learn new things and develop different projects in the other modules. Now is the time to apply my knowledge to learn more and create new things.

I had a good break, and I had the chance to relax and enjoy myself. I also had the opportunity to look back at what I had done in the first term. And how I want to improve in different areas. Having things planned will help me throughout my journey and DMUIC/DMU.

After one year and a half, I had the chance to visit my country, and I realised how much I was missing that place. Lisbon, where I am from, is a magical place, and I could see things differently this time. I had a delightful time while there. I had the chance to go around, enjoy different places and take some pictures. The picture I took in Lisbon has a sad story behind this colourful scene. We can still see the pink pavement, almost gone. The place used to be one of the busiest areas downtown, full of places where people could go to catch up for a drink or food. Also, many bars around to enjoy a bit of music. An authentic and colourful street full of life. However, this street called Pink Street does not have these places anymore. Instead, the city decided to remove everything to build a new hotel around the area. Before, a road that could host hundreds of people is now empty and ready to start the works on this building.
